MEET OUR STAFF

Rev. Joel Fetter - Pastor

Joel joined our staff in February 2001. At that time, he was our Director of Christian Education. Since then, he has been ordained into the Christian Ministry. In May 2006, he became our pastor. Joel is a former Lutheran who brings some of his past to our own worship experiences. Joel loves preaching and enjoys story telling. He tries to blend those two gifts to help bring a fresh perspective to the Holy Scriptures. Besides leading worship, Joel also loves to visit with members and friends of the congregation.

Pastor Joel is married to a lovely lady named Ang. She is originally from England and  brings her own unique sense of humor to the congregation. Ang works at Step by Step Academy in Worthington, Ohio with children who have autism.

Joel and Ang do not have children, but they would like to adopt some day. Mean while, they are the "parents" to two canines, Sweetie and Christy and two felines, Toby and George.

Joel loves to read. He especially enjoys reading historical accounts, true stories and mysteries. You will soon discover that Joel loves lighthouses. His favorite is the Marblehead Lighthouse on Lake Erie.

Joyce began piano lessons at 9 years old. She was the accompanist for musicals during high school years at Waldo High School. She started to play the organ at St. John's UCC around 1959.

Joyce decided that she wanted to learn to play with "both feet". Therefore, she enrolled in and completed the Methodist Theological Certification program in Organ Service Playing in May 2003. Joyce continues to hone her skills under the direction of Sally Casto- Program Director at the Methodist Theological School.
